Mission
Accreditation
NAEYC Accreditation means that BCC’s program meets NAEYC’s 10 standards of excellence in early childhood education. Programs that meet these standards provide a safe and healthy environment for children, have teachers who are well-trained, have access to excellent teaching materials, and work with curriculum that is appropriately challenging and developmentally sound. These programs are continuously improving themselves to provide the best possible educational opportunities for children. StructureWhile working within the framework of a developmentally appropriate program, we strive to educate the whole child: spiritually, intellectually, socially, and physically. Our program provides a broad base for growth through diverse experiences using organized group time, learning centers, and outside play. Our
classes are from 9:00 AM to 2:30 PM on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and
Friday. You may enroll in one to four days depending on what you
may need and what we have available. Class ages range from 10
months (by September 1) through Pre-Kindergarten.

Bethany
Christian Church, in response to a community need for a quality
weekday school, established the Bethany Community School as a
not-for-profit organization of the church. The mission of
Bethany Community School is to provide children the education
opportunities of discovery, growth, and development necessary for
their life in the world, set in a Christian context. Although we
are an outreach of Bethany Christian Church, we are a community school
welcoming families of all faiths. Bethany Community School has
been mission of Bethany Christian church since 1971.
We are busting our buttons!
The news came in the form of a letter from NAEYC (National
Association for the Education of Young Children) stating congratulations! More than
20 years ago, NAEYC created an accreditation system to improve the
quality of education and care provided in programs for young children.
NAEYC Accreditation has become the mark of quality, helping parents
find the best possible early childhood experience. Bethany Community School worked
hard for months to attain this accreditation.
